This hard-to-find CD is no longer in print and represents the launch of the Dipset movement. Dating back to the middle of 2003, this CD was released shortly after Dipset president Freekey Zeeky was wounded in the chest and abdomen after a traffic accident in mid-town Manhattan escalated, leaving his associate/bodyguard Eric "Big E" Mangrum dead, killed by multiple gunshots. This CD is also a tribute to Big E, dedicated by the Dipset crew. Officially labelled as Dipset/ByrdGang, vol. 1 means this is that official ByrdGang sh*t. This CD also officially introduced J.R. Writer to their circle, with him lining up on a track with Cam, Jim & Juelz.
