Get Money, Stay True
Paul Wall

Paul Wall 'The People's Champ' is a jack of all trades. His grill game with TV Johnny is among the South's #1 mouth shops, period. He can handle the turntables, and his chop & screw game is well known. But his rapping is what people really pay to watch, and Paul Wall ain't no dummy with a microphone. Texas' coldest whiteboy drops his second career album, and this sophomore release will leave you nothing but slumped. His sizzurp soaked slang is at its best, with tracks like his hit "Break Em Off" with his Swishahouse bredren Lil Keke (whose album is due out later this year). His album features production from Cool and Dre, Scott Storch, Travis Barker, Mr. Lee, KLC, Jermaine Dupri and others, and has guest spots from Snoop Dogg, Juelz Santana, Yung Redd & E Class (Swishahouse's newest members), Freeway, Trina and others. Due to be Chopped & Screwed and released 2 weeks after the regular album's street date, this version's for the dummies, as Paul would say. Here's what else Paul had to say, particularly about this album: "I've been getting into the studio every chance I get, working with [Swishahouse head honcho] T. Farris and [Houston producer] Mr. Lee. And like the title says, the album is all about getting money and fame, but also about staying true to where I came up," Wall said. "I've dealt with so many things I never had to deal with before the success I've attained in the past year has been phenomenal, but I still want to remain Paul Wall. So we're not changing the script too much. The focus is still the same: the cars, the clothes, the ho's, the screw music." (MTV News) TRACK LIST 1.
