N.O.X. is a New Orleans-based documentary meant to draw attention to the harsh realities of inner-city America. In doing so, the documentary takes viewers on a journey to the 'Murder Capital' of the world, using unadulterated images of the city and honest testimonies from members of its community. From the violent street life of the N.O. to the housing projects and secondline festivals, the brutally honest video depicts the realities of the city known for its distinctive foods, music and culture. A failing public school system, an influx of drugs and guns in the communities and political corruption still plague the city.
