For 50 years, Charlie Brown and Snoopy ruled the cartoon land. At its peak, Peanuts ran in more than 2,600 newspapers, with a readership of 355 million in 75 countries, and was translated into 21 languages. In 2000, exactly five decades after cartoonist Charles Schultz created Snoopy and the gang, the world-wide syndicated Peanuts comic strip hung it up for good.
The crew of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Woodstock, Sally and Schroeder would have long been adults by then, but in 2000, Peanuts continued on only as repeats. All these characters are present on this repeated, all-over pattern of the Peanuts gang. The t-shirt shown is a black, men's short-sleeved t-shirt.
