UNDERGROUND KINGZ - UGK Maaannn. Long overdue and perhaps the most anticipated album in the South all year, 'Underground Kingz' is the first real album from the Port Arthur, Texas rap duo in six years, dating all the way back to 2001's 'Dirty Money.' Shortly thereafter, Pimp C was incarcerated on a gun charge, and the rest is history. With C going to jail right after UGK started blowing up nationwide (thanks in part to their legendary appearance on Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin" smash-hit in 2000), the two were forced to give birth to solo careers to keep things moving. With Bun B releasing 'Trill' and Pimp C releasing albums from jail, it figured to be a long time until UGK would be back together again. Released two days before New Years day 2007, Pimp C was reunited with his boy Bun B, and straight to the studio they went. With their 'QUIT HATING THE SOUTH' movement, these two Southern legends are doing it big with the trillest album of 2007. A double CD, the 6th studio album from UGK is slated to feature cameos from a 'Who's Who' of Southern spitters, including T.I., Rick Ross, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Young Buck, OutKast, Mike Jones, Sleepy Brown, Three 6 Mafia, Birdman, Lil Wayne, Z-Ro and others.
