MU: Since you’re representing THE COME UP...What does THE COME UP mean to Cassidy?
Cassidy: Its about accomplishing your dreams – having goals, long-term and short-term – the more you fulfill your goals and the more you accomplish – the more you Come Up – not just financially, your relationship with god, your maturity, the way you learn and understand the world – because you never know.  You could have money today and be dead broke tomorrow – you Come Up with information and knowledge…Being the realest dude.

Is Cassidy still on the COME UP?
Of course.  I’m still doing it, I’m up more than I was before but I aint reached that level.

What's Cassidy coming up on in 2007?
We got the album coming out in October, the video any day now.  I got my family…my  group thing – the Larceny Family.  I’m also reading a lot of scripts – I think people think I’ma be a real good actor…I got a Lot 29 deal, Billboard…

Now that Swizz is doing his thing now…speak on Swizz, describe working with Swizz?
Swizz has always been a rapper and giving rappers ideas and coming up with choruses, and Swizz is so talented and the game is so watered down, so he knew how to bring it to  the people.   He got a lot of hit records and is real successful, and I really expected that…I’m happy to see him doing his thing. 

Is there a King of Philly?
I don’t really get into the King of Philly.  You can say what you want to say, but that’s not really factual.  That don’t mean a thing.  Respect  is what I go for.  When I’m in Philly I feel love.

Any last words you want to speak on…
It was times [after the accident] that I was praying to do my thing, and for me to be running around and doing this is a blessing.  This is something I can appreciate more than ever and I’m trying to help u learn about Cassidy as a person.

I’ve seen the world.  Financially I’m different  – I’m more mature.  The accident, the murder case – I’m more experienced.  So much has changed since 6-7 years ago…definitely the most important thing is my relationship with God.
